LAMDA EXAMINATION COURSE FOR PRE-TEENS: 8-11 YEARS – SATURDAYS 10:30AM

LAMDA is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding bodies. They have been offering practical examinations in communication and performance subjects for over 130 years. In this time, our qualifications have helped hundreds of thousands of candidates of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong skills.

LAMDA exams are about achievement – recognising and rewarding the endeavours of each individual – but they are also about empowerment. The ultimate aim is to provide all people with the opportunity to develop the life skills they need to be a success: attributes such as self-confidence and the ability to communicate clearly and present ideas.

At the heart of LAMDA examinations is the recognition that our qualifications are for everyone. Across the globe, the examinations unite learners of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and cultures in enthusiasm for the English language and a desire to develop skills for life.

This 9 week term is aimed at developing performance skills and stagecraft, focusing on preparation for students’ performance in their examination. Students will be required to sign up for the following term from April-June 2021 in order to participate in the LAMDA examination in June 2021. This next term will specifically focus on the selection of their examination monologues, running and learning lines, performance blocking, stage presence, and voice projection within their performance of their examination pieces.

*The 2021 examinations are estimated to be in June 2021, however the exact date of the examination will be released by the LAMDA examination board in March/April 2021.

 

• Suitable for ages 8 – 11 years old

• Limited participants per class ensuring you get the personalised attention that your child needs and social distancing is maintained

• 9  1 Hour group sessions with LAMDA examination students only

 

16 January – 20 March 2020 | Saturdays 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Fees: 1 125 AED (9 x 1 hour sessions)
