Running in Dubai since 2008, The Desert Monologues is a doorway into a whole new, creative side of Dubai you don’t want to miss out on! Come and join our theatre community.

Our flagship 6 week acting workshop for adults will explore script-work, improvisation and characterisation. Experienced instructors will teach you how to get the best out of your voice and improve your stagecraft.

This course will take participants through a variety of drama-based activities and culminates in monologue performances at The Courtyard Playhouse, our dedicated theatre space. It is a diverse course that is designed to be challenging and fun. Whether you are an experienced actor wanting some stage practice in a professional theatre or a beginner wanting to improve your confidence and meet like-minded individuals – this is the course for you!

•  Limited participants per class ensuring you get the personalised attention from your instructor and social distancing during the workshop is maintained

•  Over 16 hours of tuition including individual rehearsal and stage-time in a professional theatre

•  A showcase performance at the Courtyard Playhouse open to your friends and family
