DESCRIPTION:This is a very special new offering for our more committed 7–8-year-old performers — a full production class designed to take students on a three-term journey towards a magical on-stage performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! \nUnlike our life-skills focused drama classes\, this course is for kids with previous theatre experience who are ready to explore storytelling\, choreography\, and stagecraft in more depth as a part of an ensemble. \n  \nOver three terms\, students will learn: \nTerm 1: Movement and choreography\nTerm 2: Ensemble building and script work\nTerm 3: Blocking\, dress rehearsal and final show \nShow dates: Friday 5th June 3:30pm – 4:30pm & Saturday 13th June 5:30pm – 6:30pm \n  \nThe course concludes with two public performances on stage in full costume with technical lighting and sound. \n Entry is by audition or invitation only. Class sizes will be limited to ensure focus and individual attention. \nWhile fees are paid termly\, students who audition and are accepted must commit to attending all three terms\, including full participation in dress rehearsals and both final performances.

SUMMARY:STORY - IMPROV FOR ADULTS SUMMER 2026 SUN 3:15PM
DESCRIPTION:JUMP TO REGISTRATION \n“The improviser has to be like a man walking backwards. He sees where he has been\, but he pays no attention to the future. His story can take him anywhere\, but he must still ‘balance’ it\, and give it shape\, by remembering incidents that have been shelved and reincorporating them.”” – Keith Johnstone \nImprov that focuses on narrative tries to tell a story that has a complete arc from beginning to end\, a story that elicits not only laughter\, but an emotional response. This course will teach you how to create compelling narratives on stage. We will explore various techniques and formats that bring the audience to the edge of their seats in laughter\, fear\, expectation\, and anticipation. \nThis course is for you if you have completed ‘Don’t Panic’ and you want to focus on how to create a narrative structure on stage with your fellow improvisors. \n  \nDOWNLOAD CLASS SCHEDULE
