All of our programs are General Admission. We will start seating around 15 minutes before showtime. If you have special requirements and would like more time to be seated, or need to sit closer for vision- or hearing- related concerns, please arrive a half hour before show time and let our box office person know. We will be happy to accommodate you.

Where do I park?

The Courtyard does have limited parking in the front of the building (Limetree Cafe side). There are also several parking lots nearby. We recommend patrons make time for parking when taking a trip to the Playhouse. Please be aware that the Courtyard Building is closed from 10pm onwards and on Fridays, so it is best not to park at the back.

What age are your shows appropriate for?

It’s improv, and different every time, so we cannot give you an exact estimate, but our shows are usually PG-13 in content. Our evening shows are still for adults and not meant for children. They may contain harsh language and innuendo. If an evening show is family-friendly, it will be stated in the description for the show on our website. If you would like a recommendation or further information about the possible content or themes in a show beforehand, feel free to e-mail our Artistic Director Kemsley Dickinson at kemsley@courtyardplayhouse.com.

How long are your evening programs?

Our improv’ and comedy shows are about an hour and a half each. Nt Live screenings can be up to 3 hours in length.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, our theatre is upstairs and is not wheelchair accessible.

Can I bring food & drinks into the theatre?

No, only bottled water is allowed in. We usually sell snacks and drinks at intermission.
