General Terms and Conditions

The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre maintains the Courtyardplayhouse.com Website (“Site”). The following are the terms of use that govern use of the Site (“Terms of Use”). By using the Site you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms of Use andThe Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre Courtyardplayhouse.com privacy policy and to follow these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations governing use of the Site. The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Please check this page of the Site periodically. We will note when there are updates to the Terms of Use at the bottom of the Terms of Use. If you violate these Terms of Use, The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre may terminate your use of the Site, bar you from future use of the Site, and/or take appropriate legal action against you.

IMPROV NIGHTS, NT LIVE & KIDS’ STORYTIME:
Before attending an Improv Night, NT Live or Kids Theatre programme, please read the bellow carefully. By registering for the event you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions:

1) To avoid disruption doors close strictly on time, any latecomers will be refused entry.

2) Our improv nights work on a first-come-first-serve basis, an RSVP DOES NOT guarantee you entrance, we recommend to arrive 45 minutes early to avoid disappointment.

3) The Courtyard Playhouse reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission/evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly/inappropriate or who poses a threat to safety, security or to the enjoyment of the event by others.

4) Food and beverages purchased outside of The Courtyard Playhouse are not permitted.

5) Refunds and exchanges are not permitted. The Courtyard Playhouse at its sole discretion may offer a refund or exchange if an event is canceled or rescheduled.

6) When you are at the theatre there may be photography and videography, by entering the venue you are consenting to this footage being captured and shared on social media. No content will be shared with or sold to any third parties. If you object it is your responsibility to inform our reception upon entry.

GIFT VOUCHERS:
Gift vouchers are sold subject to the following terms and conditions. The below should be read carefully prior to purchasing. Purchasing the gift voucher constitutes acceptance of the Terms & Conditions

1) Courtyard Playhouse Gift Vouchers can be used against anything available on the website to purchase, unless otherwise specified on the gift voucher.
2) Courtyard Playhouse Gift vouchers are valid for a 12 month period from the date of purchase and must be redeemed within this 12 month period
3) The Courtyard Playhouse will not refund Gift Vouchers.
4) Gift Vouchers are partially redeemable. If the cost of the item one wishes to purchase exceeds the redeemable value of the gift voucher, the voucher holder is required to pay the difference between the purchase price of the item and the value of the gift voucher.
5) If the purchase price of an item is less than the value of a Courtyard Playhouse Gift Voucher used for redemption, the residual credit balance of the Gift Voucher will remain on the voucher and can be redeemed in the future. The original Gift Voucher validity will apply and any residual credit balance will not be refunded or credited upon expiry.
6) The Courtyard Playhouse Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be resold or exchanged.
7) The Courtyard Playhouse may at its sole discretion cancel a Gift Voucher, refuse redemption or cancel tickets redeemed using a gift voucher if it suspects that a gift voucher is being used fraudulently, in an unauthorized or illegal manner, or it has reason to believe that the voucher holder is in breach of the T&C.
8) The Courtyard Playhouse reserves the right to change the T&C at any time at its sole discretion.

LIMITED LICENSE. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable license to utilize and access the Site pursuant to the requirements and restrictions of these Terms of Use. The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time. The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre may also, without notice or liability, impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to all or portions of the Site. You shall have no rights to the proprietary software and related documentation, if any, provided to you in order to access the Site. Except as provided in the Terms of Use, you shall have no right to directly or indirectly, own, use, loan, sell, rent, lease, license, sublicense, assign, copy, translate, modify, adapt, improve, or create any new or derivative works from, or display, distribute, perform, or in any way exploit the Site, or any of its contents (including software) in whole or in part.

1. SITE OPERATION: United Arab Emirates is our Country of Domicile. The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre controls this Site from the U.A.E. The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre makes no representation that this Site is appropriate for use in other locations. If you use this Site from other locations you are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws. You may not use, export or re-export any materials from this Site in violation of any applicable laws or regulations, including, but not limited to any U.A.E export laws and regulations.

2. APPLICABLE LAW. The Laws of the United Arab Emirates shall govern the use of the Site and the Terms of Use, without regards to conflict of laws principals. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in U.A.E.

3. MULTI-CURRENCY PRICED TRANSACTION, the displayed price and currency selected by you, will be the same price and currency charged to the Card and printed on the Transaction Receipt.

4. PURCHASES. The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre accepts payment by Visa or Mastercard debit and credit cards in AED for its products and services. All online purchases are also governed by the terms and conditions of respective merchant service providers. Please review respective merchant service provider’s user agreement and privacy policy before entering any transaction.  Cardholders must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules. All refunds will be made onto the original mode of payment.

5. OFFICE FOREIGN ASSETS CONTROL (OFAC) SANCTIONED COUNTRIES. The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre will not trade with or provide any services to individuals and companies owned or controlled by, or acting for or on behalf of, OFAC targeted countries AND individuals, groups, and entities, such as terrorists and narcotics traffickers designated under the OFAC programs that are not country specific.

6. REPRESENTATIONS BY YOU. By visiting the Site, you represent, warrant and covenant that (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) that all materials of any kind submitted by you to The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre through the Site or for inclusion on the Site will not plagiarize, violate or infringe upon the rights of any third-party including trade secret, copyright, trademark, trade dress, privacy, patent, or other personal or proprietary rights. 12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. Although The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre is not responsible for the content, quality or accuracy of data provided by users, compilations of such data, text, information and other materials made available to users through The Courtyard Playhouse Performing Arts Training Centre’s system.
