Sign your teens up for our Acting Winter Camp where we will explore The Hunger Games using its world and ideas as a creative springboard to explore character, moral choice, alliances and resilience through age-appropriate theatre exercises and scene work. It will be a fun, focused week filled with self-expression and spontaneity, where young performers develop valuable life skills that build confidence and help overcome anxieties.
Performing on stage can be one of the most exhilarating experiences of a teenager’s life. It’s not just about pretending to be someone else — it’s also about learning to be comfortable with who you are. The Courtyard Playhouse is a safe space where teens meet like-minded individuals, feel accepted and free to be themselves.
Our Winter Camp caters for all levels and your child will be guided by talented instructors with a wealth of experience teaching children and teens. Each week, participants develop their storytelling, stage presence, characterisation and teamwork skills, and the camp concludes with a showcase for friends and family.
