Sign your teens up for our Acting Spring Camp inspired by popular literature, inviting teens aged 12–14 to explore courage, companionship and personal growth through ensemble storytelling, character-driven scenes and imaginative world-building, as ordinary individuals discover how bravery is often found through missteps, loyalty and unexpected choices! It will be a fun week filled with self-expression and spontaneity, where young performers develop valuable life skills that help build confidence and overcome anxieties.
Performing on stage can be one of the most exhilarating experiences of a teenager’s life. It’s not just about pretending to be someone else – it’s also about learning to be comfortable with who you are. The Courtyard Playhouse is a safe space where preteens meet likeminded individuals, feel accepted and free to be themselves.
Our Camp caters for all levels and your child will be guided by talented instructors with a wealth of experience teaching children of all ages. Each week will see the participants developing their storytelling, stage presence, characterisation and teamwork skills and will conclude with a showcase for friends and family.
