Wordsmith is a two act exploration of spontaneous storytelling conceived by improviser and actor Kyle Herselman. Come and see your ideas be woven together into incredible tales of adventure, action, and astonishment across 2 sensational acts.
Act 1 – Choose Your Own Adventure
Inspired by a love of tabletop roleplaying games and 20th century Choose Your Own Adventure novels, this act brings the audience together and transforms them into the hero of their own personalized adventure. Work together to navigate the narrative that builds out of the audience’s suggestions.
Act 2 – Once Upon a Time…
In act 2 we slow things down as our Wordsmith takes a title from the audience and spins it into a full 45min long story designed to entice and excite your imagination.
What kind of stories will be told? Knights rescuing princesses? Outlaws in the woods like Robin Hood? A saucy period drama? A chilling ghost story? An epic scifi space opera? The choice Is yours.
