Sign your teens up for our Acting Spring Camp inspired by Wicked and invites teens aged 12–14 to spend the week developing performance skills through ensemble drama, character exploration and storytelling, as they examine perspective, morality and belonging, and explore how narratives are shaped, labels are formed, and individuals find the confidence to stand by their values! It will be a fun week filled with self-expression and spontaneity, where young performers develop valuable life skills that help build confidence and overcome anxieties.
Performing on stage can be one of the most exhilarating experiences of a teenager’s life. It’s not just about pretending to be someone else – it’s also about learning to be comfortable with who you are. The Courtyard Playhouse is a safe space where preteens meet likeminded individuals, feel accepted and free to be themselves.
Our Camp caters for all levels and your child will be guided by talented instructors with a wealth of experience teaching children of all ages. Each week will see the participants developing their storytelling, stage presence, characterisation and teamwork skills and will conclude with a showcase for friends and family.
