Six years ago today, we lost someone truly special.
Manju wasn’t just a brilliant improviser — he was the kind of person who made every room warmer, every scene better, and a truly generous soul who helped shape the spirit of our community from the very beginning.

He was our original Toilet Monster at Storytime (yes, really) — a character that made kids giggle and shriek in equal measure. But more than that, Manju embodied the spirit of improv: always saying yes, always lifting others up, always making space.

He brought donuts. He gave the best hugs. He made people laugh when they needed it most.

We still miss him. We still remember.

This Week at The Playhouse Corporate Academy

It’s been another energising week filled with creativity, collaboration, and meaningful partnerships.

We had the pleasure of hosting Louis Vuitton for a bespoke management workshop focused on recruitment, leadership, and building a values-driven hiring mindset. The full-day session was designed specifically for their team and delivered through engaging, scenario-based learning.

We were also thrilled to welcome the team from Wide Vision for the first time for a full-day ‘Yes And…’ Team Building & Development Workshop. Through interactive improv-based activities, the session helped unlock collaboration, build trust, and encourage creative risk-taking across their team.

Meanwhile, our team in KSA continued supporting London Business School as part of the ongoing EMERGE Leadership Programme with Diriyah Company. The latest session brought together leaders from across the organisation for a deep dive into communication, presence, and team dynamics.

A big thank you to all the teams we’ve worked with this week—we’re grateful for the trust, the energy, and the opportunity to keep creating memorable learning experiences together.

Tomorrow marks the end of our July theatre summer

Tomorrow marks the end of our July theatre summer camps — and honestly, it’s been pretty special.
We’ve had little ones as young as 4 and teens up to 14 taking the stage, trying new things, and surprising even themselves with what they could do.

Watching them grow more confident — sometimes in just a week — is the kind of reminder we all need about why we do what we do.

And the best part? We’re not done yet.
Three more weeks of camps begin in August — and we’d love for your child to be a part of it. Not sure if it’s the right fit? Come try our mini trial class for kids and teens.

He’s our Learning & Development specialist, a phenomenal performer, and the guy who has the whole team wheezing with laughter every time he’s on stage.

From leading corporate trainings to late-night show madness, we honestly don’t know what we’d do without him.
