September is here, and so is our Autumn season at

September is here, and so is our Autumn season at the Playhouse. After the long summer, we’re easing back into rhythm with a month full of improv, laughter, and stories.

We’re kicking things off with our season special — Arabic Maestro — before jumping into our regular Monday Night Comedy, Wednesday Maestro and our monthly special: Friday Night Spotlight. Later in the month, we’ve got PowerPointless on the 25th and our two-act show, Monday Night Comedy: Ahmed, on the 29th. Not to mention our NTLive for September in Frankenstein!

And every Saturday at 11AM (not 11:30 anymore!), it’s SuperStory — where kids decide how the adventure unfolds! On the 27th, we’re extra excited to welcome a special guest, Kathy Urban, to bring her magic to the mix.

That’s our September line-up. And while we don’t want to spoil anything just yet... let’s just say October is going to be pure magic. ✨ Expecto something special.

Many of you remember when we sponsored Nethmi, daughter of Selva and Nerosh, for her barista training. ❤️

We’re so happy to share a little update — Nethmi is now helping us out temporarily at the theatre with our snackbar, and it’s been such a delight to have her with us. She’s growing more confident, building her communication skills, and slowly stepping out of her shell.

If you’ve been around the Playhouse for a while, you’ll know her parents, Selva and Nerosh — our longest serving employees who’ve been with us from the very beginning, keeping this place running with their hard work and care. Now, watching Nethmi carve her own path alongside them has been really special.

She’s still looking for a barista job, so if you know someone who’s hiring — we’ve got a wonderful candidate right here. ☕✨

Anni might be one of the newest team members, but she’s already made such a big impact. If you’ve seen her around, you’ll know her as the shy but super bright, kind and wonderful person she is. ❤️

This little street cat has survived more than any

This little street cat has survived more than any animal should. 💔 She was once hurt so badly we didn’t think she’d make it… but against all odds, she pulled through.

She’s older, gentle, and so full of love — all she needs now is a quiet home where she can spend her final years in peace and comfort. 🐾

If you’ve ever thought about adopting, maybe this sweet soul is waiting for you to give her the forever home (and forever name) she deserves. 💛
