This month, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Felipe Ortiz to the Courtyard Playhouse — all the way from Colombia!

As an international guest instructor, Felipe brought his unique style, deep generosity, and infectious energy into every corner of our theatre — from leading intensive trainings with our teachers, team, and improvisers, to lighting up our improv nights with his unmistakable presence.

And of course, his solo show 🎭 LUGARES 🎭left us all moved, inspired, and reminded of the power of storytelling without words.

Hailing from Colombia, Felipe is a world-renowned improviser, director, and physical theatre artist known for blending movement, storytelling, and spontaneity like no other. He’s the co-founder of La Gata Cirko and a leading voice in physical and visual improv across the globe.

This month, Felipe is adding his unique charm to our Improv Comedy Nights, training our ensemble with his signature style, and bringing his own spectacular show Lugares to our stage.
