This summer camp at The Courtyard Playhouse, we’re shining a spotlight on local talent — and that includes two incredible UAE-based authors: Helen Farmer and Kathy Urban!

🦸‍♀️Week 2 of our July Camps
Theme: Helping others makes you a hero!
We’ll be diving into My Family’s Secret Superpowers by Helen Farmer, a heartwarming tale about kindness, empathy, and the quiet powers we all have.

🌟Week 2 of our August Camps
Theme: We are always better together!
We’ll explore Hop Lola Hop by Kathy Urban, a beautiful story about friendship, resilience, and embracing life’s unexpected journeys.

Their books will inspire our young campers as they bring characters to life through drama, storytelling, and improv. Because celebrating homegrown talent starts with the next generation of readers and performers.

What a week at Corporate Academy!

We had the pleasure of working with some of our long-term partners as well as welcoming an exciting new client into the fold. Here's a quick look at where we’ve been and what we’ve been up to:

KSA: We partnered with London Business School for the first of eight cohorts with client Diriyah Company, closing their Leadership Development week with a high-energy session on Impactful Communication & Presence.

Abu Dhabi: Salman Qureshi joined Van Cleef & Arpels at their boutique to deliver bespoke role play sessions, supporting the facilitation and coaching skills of their newest Training Manager.

Park Hyatt Dubai: Our brilliant comedians Salman Qureshi and Rushdi Rafeek brought laughter and connection to the Dentons team gala dinner with an interactive improv comedy set.

The Courtyard Playhouse: We also hosted our Bring Your Boss event—an exclusive Corporate Taster Session & Networking Night for HR, L&D professionals, and business leaders to experience the power of improvisation in team development. A fun, interactive evening of insight, laughter, and meaningful connections!

Grateful to all our partners—old and new—for the trust and collaboration.

Throwback to Thursday Night last week, we had a special Bring Your Boss Corprorate Taster session followed by a Powerpointless night like no other!

We kicked off the evening with our Bring Your Boss Taster Session — a hands-on introduction to how improvisation links to corproate training!

This was followed by a buzzing networking session where guests connected over great conversations (and great food sponsored by @hellomealsonme )

Then came the highlight of the night — a jam-packed, laugh-out-loud Powerpointless performance, where performers delivered improvised presentations based on slides they'd never seen before. A full house, a roaring crowd, and total chaos in the best possible way.
